Our Mission and Our Ministries

Our mission is to introduce people to the life changing power of Jesus Christ through the avenue of water sports. We accomplish this mission through our “On the Shores” and “A Day to Remember” Programs.

A Day to Remember

“A Day to Remember” provides an opportunity of a lifetime for predominately at-risk youth by giving them an unforgettable day on the water.

Participants engage in various water sports activities such as swimming, boat riding, knee boarding, water skiing and wake boarding. These activities break through walls of fear, distrust, and low self-esteem and expose the joy and smiles that have been suppressed by a life time of challenges.

Through the on-water activities, the time invested in the participant’s life, and the life changing message of Jesus Christ, the “A Day to Remember” becomes a starting point for a new life for the participants as they gain confidence, self esteem, and new found hope to face the challenges of life.

On the Shores

In order to impact the water sports community, In His Wakes travels to selected professional and amateur water sports events where we hold church services open to the athletes, corporate sponsors and water sports enthusiasts.

At these “OTS” events, In His Wakes operates a ministry booth where individuals can find out more about the ministries of In His Wakes and be encouraged to use their talents and resources to be a blessing to others. In His Wakes also provides scholarship opportunities annually for junior competitive water skiers and wake boarders.

On the Shores also organizes speaking engagements where professional water sports athletes are given a platform to share the true ‘Source’ of their strength.
