Founder to be Inducted into NC Sports Hall of Fame

Champion’s Heart “In His Wakes” Founder, Kristi Overton Johnson, will be inducted into the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame on May 9th, in Raleigh, NC for her accomplishments in the sport of water skiing. Johnson will be joining Hall of Fame members such as Dale Earnhardt, Michael Jordan, Jim “Catfish” Hunter, and Ricky Proehl. Johnson, formally a native of Greenville, NC has resided in the Lake Area Region since 1994 where through her ministries she uses her experiences from her water ski career to ignite the heart of a champion in others.
